Q: Who can refer someone?

Anyone. You don’t need a licence or an account. If you know an Ontario homeowner who wants to sell, in any condition or situation, you can refer them. There’s no limit on how many.

Q: How do I make a referral?

Tell the homeowner about PrivateDeals and ask them to mention your name when they call or fill out the form. Or contact us yourself with their permission and we’ll reach out. That’s how we track it.

Q: What if they take months to decide?

You’re still covered. Once they contact us and mention you, the referral is yours if they sell to us later.

Q: Can I earn more than once from the same person?

Yes, if they own more than one property. You earn one reward for each property we buy from them.

Your reward

When a home you referred closes with PrivateDeals, you choose one reward for that closing: $2,000, or a new MacBook Pro (the base configuration Apple sells in Canada at the time we order it).

Who qualifies

The home must be in Ontario and meet our purchase criteria. The seller has to mention you when they first contact us. One reward per closed property; if more than one person refers the same home, the first verified referral gets it.

When you get it

We pay the $2,000, or place the MacBook Pro order, within 5 to 7 business days after the sale closes and funds transfer.

Changes and fair use

We may change or end the program with 30 days’ notice; referrals made before then still count. Self-referrals and referrals not made in good faith are not eligible.
